Summary:

Under the direction of the General Manager, the Service Manager directs, coordinates and supervises the service department and body shop, in addition to meeting with customers and resolving problems and resolving complaints regarding service, parts and sales problems.

Essential Responsibilities:

•  Meets with customers to resolve and assist in resolving their questions regarding parts, service and sales problems.

•  Delegates work assignments and appropriate authority to department managers, utilizing their abilities, knowledge and background to achieve departmental responsibilities.

•  Works with Human Resources to select, hire and provide training of new Associates.

•  Appraise employee performance and recommend change of status and or salary adjustments.

Qualifications:

•  High school diploma or equivalent and five year or more of related experience required.

•  Basic Windows and Word computer skills required.

•  Strong Supervisory skills required.

•  Valid Commercial Driver’s License required.

•  Dependable and reliable attendance required.
